Classroom Expectations/Rules
Course Description
Supply List/Syllabus
- No food or cell phones allowed in class.
- Attendance is necessary to keep up with the class. However, if a student must miss class, they are required to make up missed work in a timely manner (1 day for each day missed).
- Students are expected to be prepared for class. This includes having notebooks, pencils, etc. and having assignments completed and ready to turn in.
- Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to begin class when the tardy bell rings.
- Students are required to participate in class and be respectful to their peers, themselves, and their teacher.
- Students are required to keep up with their assigned reading and turn in assignments on time.
- Plagiarism and cheating have no place in a community of learners. Each student is required to put forth their best personal effort.
Seventh Grade English is designed to involve the student in applying reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing skills in an independent meaningful manner. Students will continue to develop their critical thinking skills and expand their understanding and use of language.
