STAR Program

An incentive program for Choctaw members enrolled in grades 2 through 12 that rewards students for academic excellence and encourages success in the classroom.


  • Students must be enrolled in grades 2-12 and possess a Choctaw Nation tribal membership card.


Apply in the Chahta Achvffa member portal. Application Dates:

  • Jan. 1 – April 1 (for the previous Fall semester)
  • June 1 – Sept. 1 (for the previous Spring semester)

Incentives are given twice a year at the end of each semester for the following academic achievements:

  • All A’s: $50 gift card
  • All A’s and B’s: $25 gift card
  • Perfect Attendance: $25 gift card


Indian Ed meetings will begin on August 7 during Open House.  This meeting will have a sign-in sheet and will be to take names of any interested in being on committees and/or have questions concerning the 2023-24 school year. Current committee members are encouraged to be at the Indian Ed table to assist with information sharing.
