From the Superintendent’s Office Bokoshe Public School:
The COVID risk level status for Leflore County has been updated to Orange-Moderate Level 2.
Beginning August 31st, Bokoshe High School KTC students will become virtual students through September 4th. Those who do not have internet access may contact their instructor on the 31st to arrange for a packet pickup.
We will continue to follow our COVID health policies in regard to screening, taking temperatures, wearing masks, and social distancing. Provisions for school lunches will continue.
In following state guidelines, for the week of August 31st through September 4th, Bokoshe Public School will not participate in extracurricular activities such as spectator sports or other group activities in which we utilize on-campus buildings or facilities. We will do our best to reschedule any game or activity we may miss. We plan on resuming extracurricular activities beginning September 8th barring any unforeseen circumstances.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this school year. We are constantly in a state of flux while we are making every effort to ensure a safe environment for your student/s while doing our best to continue providing on-site, in-person education.
